Lowe and Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. (MFA) have announced the completion of Gallery 64, a 492-unit, 12-story apartment building in Southwest DC. This marks the final phase of a 500,000-square-foot arts focused redevelopment of the former Randall Junior High School. Located at 64 H Street SW., Gallery 64 provides contemporary homes that incorporate art and culture with notable pieces displayed throughout its interior spaces. Additionally, a public courtyard adorned with greenery connects to Rubell Museum DC creating an inviting space for residents as well as visitors to gather together in one place. Notably this is also DC’s first privately owned residential development to achieve LEED Platinum certification status – emphasizing sustainability efforts within this project’s design features .
