**Perceptive Advisors Expands to Full Floor at 51 Astor Place**
Edward J. Minskoff Equities (EJME) and JLL announced that Perceptive Advisors, a venture capital firm focused on life sciences and founded by Joseph Edelman, has expanded its footprint at 51 Astor Place in NoHo to occupy the entire 10th floor. Perceptive, one of the building’s original tenants since its opening in 2013, has extended its long-term lease, growing from 18,000 to 25,000 square feet.
The expansion places Perceptive Advisors among several notable tenants who have increased their space at 51 Astor, including Intuit, Daily Mail US, and Tudor Investment Corporation.
“51 Astor is an exceptional property that has distinguished itself as a top office destination for discriminating tenants in the neighborhood,” said Edward J. Minskoff. “It is gratifying to see leading tenants renewing and expanding as they succeed and grow within the building.”
JLL serves as the leasing agent for 51 Astor Place. The EJME representation was handled by a JLL team led by Vice Chairmen Paul N. Glickman, Mitchell Konsker, Benjamin Bass, and Cynthia Wasserberger. Josh Friedman and Michael Horn of Newmark represented Perceptive Advisors in the lease transaction.
