**Logos Faith Development Appoints Christopher J. Montes as Partner and Chief Investment Officer**
Logos Faith Development, a mission-driven real estate development firm based in Los Angeles, has announced the expansion of its senior leadership team with the appointment of Christopher J. Montes as Partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO). In his new role, Montes will be responsible for leading the firm’s overall investment strategy and capital-raising initiatives, with a focus on securing both debt and equity to support the growth of Logos’ multifamily housing developments in collaboration with faith-based institutions.
Montes brings over 14 years of experience in multifamily finance, with a particular emphasis on both market-rate and affordable housing sectors. Prior to joining Logos Faith Development, he served as a senior director at Walker & Dunlop, where he was recognized for his expertise in commercial real estate finance.
“We are proud to welcome an accomplished capital markets advisor like Chris to the Logos team as our new chief investment officer and a partner,” said Pastor Martin Porter, Founder and CEO of Logos Faith Development.
Porter added, “Chris and I initially connected over shared faith and values. This is about business, to be sure, but it’s also about a vision and mission rooted in faith and friendship. With his deep expertise in commercial real estate finance and affordable housing, Chris is the right leader to help us expand our impact as we work to help solve California’s housing crisis.”
Montes’ appointment marks a pivotal move for Logos Faith Development as it continues to grow its portfolio of housing projects aimed at addressing California’s urgent housing needs through partnerships with local churches and religious organizations.
