Logistics Property Company, LLC (LPC) has commenced construction on a new logistics center in Oak Forest, IL, 24 miles from downtown Chicago. The nearly 665,000-square-foot development is strategically located with immediate access to the I-57 four-way interchange at 167th Street and is two miles from the I-57 and I-80 interchange as well as three miles away from I‑294.
Ben Fish, VP of LPC’s Midwest Region expressed his enthusiasm for this project: “We are proud to announce this new venture which will expand our strategic presence in the Chicagoland area. We look forward to seeing it completed later this year.” He further noted that its high visibility and access to skilled labor make it an ideal location following their successful LogiPark 57–80 development park in Country Club Hills – comprising 1.2 million square feet across three buildings with 89% occupancy rate so far.
