**Loews Hotels Announces $500M Americana by Loews in Arlington, TX**
Loews Hotels has announced plans for Americana by Loews Hotels – Arlington, TX, marking the company’s third property within Arlington, Texas’ Entertainment District.
The new hotel will feature 507 guest rooms, including 39 suites, and encompass more than 83,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. Among its key event offerings will be a 10,000-square-foot Event Barn.
With an investment of $500 million, the Americana by Loews will replace the existing Sheraton Arlington Hotel. Demolition of the Sheraton is scheduled ahead of construction, which is expected to begin in June.
Once completed, the new hotel will join Live! by Loews – Arlington and the Loews Arlington Hotel, bringing the Loews Hotels & Co campus in Arlington to a total of 1,695 guest rooms and over 374,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Loews Hotels & Co will fully own and finance the new development.
