Seattle-based GT Capital has recently acquired Smith Tower and Butler Garage, two iconic properties located in Pioneer Square. The ownership group includes local investment firms Freestone Capital Management and Evergreen Ventures, as well as Seattle families.
Broderick Group’s Damon McCartney and Lauren Hallgrimson will be responsible for leasing the office space at Smith Tower. This 110-year-old building is known for its distinctive neoclassical design, while the adjacent Butler Garage offers convenient parking options.
GT Capital and its partners have a clear vision for these properties – to preserve the unique charm of Smith Tower while modernizing it with market-ready office spaces, enhanced security services, and a revamped retail experience that will appeal to both locals and tourists.
