Local Owner Buys SRO Apartments in Spokane

Max Frame of the Simon and Anderson Team at Kidder Mathews, a multifamily investment team, sold Pioneer Pathway House Apartments in Spokane, WA for $1 million. Representing the seller as sole brokers on this transaction, Kidder Mathews facilitated a sale to a local buyer who plans to continue operating the building as an affordable housing apartment complex.

Built in 1908 and located at 224 S. Howard St., Pioneer Pathway House consists of 39 residential units and two commercial units with most being Single Room Occupancy (SRO) dorm-style private living spaces with shared bathrooms. This marks Frame’s 12th closed transaction year-to-date following 54 transactions closed during record setting 2022 year for his team.
