Local Investor Buys El Cajon Mobile Home Park

Marcus & Millichap recently closed the sale of Shady Lane Mobile Home & RV Park, a 100% occupied, 41-site manufactured homes community on 1.65 acres at 244 Shady Ln. in El Cajon for $4,400,000. Dustin Wilmer VP investments in Marcus & Millichap’s San Diego Del Mar office represented the seller – a limited liability company – and procured the buyer – a private investor who was also an El Cajon local and had been looking to exchange from two mobile home & RV Parks he previously owned in Yuma AZ.

Wilmer noted that “Shady Lane Mobile Home & RV Park was a Watkins family generational asset which had not traded hands since 1981 and this was its first time being advertised for sale.” The buyer paid price and terms acceptable to seller while closing within seven days of listing it for sale.
