"Littleton to Add Costco and Apartments: A Growing Community"

A development group is planning to construct a 159,000-square-foot Costco Wholesale store and a residential project in Littleton, CO. According to the Denver Business Journal, Republic Investment Group is collaborating with the city of Littleton on this venture. The developer will demolish an empty 400,000 two-story office building that was previously occupied by Lumen Technologies to make room for the mixed-use project.

The current zoning at the site allows for warehouse retail on 18 acres and includes plans for a gas station with 32 fueling positions. The parking lot will have space for up to 857 cars. This new Costco location would be only one of two in town as part of their plan to open approximately 24 new stores across America and seven internationally.

Embrey has been chosen as the lead developer for the multifamily aspect of this project which will feature a total of 370 units spread out over two- and three-story apartments. Residents can look forward to amenities such as a pool, fitness center, and outdoor sports courts.

This exciting addition of both commercial retail space and residential living options showcases Littleton’s growth potential while providing convenience for its residents without compromising on quality or amenities.
