Lincoln Property Company and Brasa Capital Management have finalized the $26,250,000 acquisition of Spectrum Tech Center, a prominent industrial and flex property located at 4820 Overland Ave. and 9112 Spectrum Center Blvd. in the Kearny Mesa submarket of San Diego County. The property will be rebranded as Spectrum Logistics Center, with planned renovations and potential enhancements aimed at modernizing the site to meet the needs of today’s industrial users.
“This transaction highlights both the enduring appeal of Kearny Mesa and the potential for this new version of Spectrum Logistics Center to meet the evolving needs of modern industrial users,” said Scott Moffatt, Executive Vice President at Lincoln Property Company in San Diego.
Spectrum Tech Center currently encompasses two buildings totaling 161,981 square feet across two parcels covering 8.8 acres. The site consists of a two-story, 59,460-square-foot corporate headquarters building and a 102,521-square-foot facility designed for technical R&D, manufacturing, and distribution purposes.
As part of the redevelopment plan, the existing industrial building will be renovated, while the vacant office building will be demolished. In its place, the new owners will establish a 3.7-acre industrial outdoor storage yard, enhancing the property’s usability for logistics and distribution operations.
