LightBox Activity Index Declines Monthly but Surpasses Previous Year

According to LightBox, their Monthly CRE Activity Index for November showed a reading of 80.5, marking a decrease of 15.4 points from the previous month. However, the Index continued to outperform the same period in 2023 by aggregating activity in listings, environmental due diligence and appraisals.

Over the past three years, there has been an average decline of 14.7 points in October-to-November Index readings. This year’s decline was slightly steeper due to market uncertainty caused by recent fluctuations in the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield. Despite this trend, there was still improvement compared to last year with November’s Index showing a reading of 12
