"Lexington Industrial Park: Davidson Craven Planning 3 Million Square Feet"

Davidson Craven has recently launched construction on the CenterPoint 85 Industrial Center, situated at the intersection of I-85 and U.S. Highway 64 in Lexington. This development will offer over 3 million square feet of industrial space once fully built out. According to a report from Triad Business Journal, Davidson Craven acquired approximately 293 acres for $10.6 million in December to kickstart this project.

The first building within the park is currently being constructed by Davidson Craven and spans about 272,000 square feet on a plot of around 35 acres using tilt-up construction methods. CBRE is managing leasing activities for this project which is expected to be completed by late2025.The overall development plan involves multiple phases that will take several years to complete.

Named after its strategic location between Charlotte, Greensboro, Washington D.C., and Atlanta along I-85,the industrial park goes by the name “CenterPoint”. This long-term initiative aims at creating a central hub for businesses looking for prime industrial space in North Carolina’s thriving market.
