On Tuesday, the 49ers announced their plans to invest $200 million in upgrades at Levi’s Stadium. These improvements are being made in anticipation of the historic event taking place in 2026, when Levi’s Stadium will become the first venue ever to host both a FIFA World Cup and Super Bowl in the same year.
The enhancements include adding 20 new field seats for an immersive experience on game day. The Graton Winners Club will also be expanded to accommodate over 2,000 fans and will feature two new open-air patio bars as well as other fan-friendly activities. Furthermore, more than half of the stadium’s luxury suites have already been renovated this past offseason with plans for completing all remaining renovations by the start of the 2025 season.
In addition to these updates, Levi’s Stadium will also boast a state-of-the-art video board that is set to be one of largest and highest quality displays among all NFL stadiums. An additional 13,000 square feet of LED screens throughout various areas within the stadium are also being upgraded along with a new LED lighting system for improved visibility during night games while promoting energy conservation.
Overall, these investments demonstrate not only a commitment from ownership towards providing top-notch amenities for fans but also positioning Levi’s Stadium as one of premier sports venues worldwide.
