LendingTree Inc. is relocating its Seattle operations within Pioneer Square, moving from its current office at 157 Yesler Way to new space at 83 King in the southwest corner of downtown Seattle, Washington. The company, an online loan marketplace platform, will remain in the same historic neighborhood while updating its local office address.
The move is anchored by a 39,000-square-foot lease at 83 King, a multi-tenant office building owned by Hudson Pacific Properties. According to reporting cited from the Puget Sound Business Journal, the new premises are comparable in size to LendingTree’s existing Seattle office, signaling a relocation rather than a space expansion or contraction.
In a statement, LendingTree CEO Scott Peyree said the company is pleased to maintain its presence in Pioneer Square and to establish 83 King as its new Seattle home. The property is one of five office buildings that make up Hudson Pacific’s King Street Crossing complex, which totals 845,200 square feet across the campus and is currently 62% leased overall.
King Street Crossing’s leasing status underscores that while Hudson Pacific has secured a sizable tenant commitment from LendingTree at 83 King, there is still meaningful vacancy across the broader complex. The transaction, however, confirms continued tenant demand for office space in Pioneer Square, even as the downtown office market adjusts to evolving space needs.
LendingTree is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and operates an online marketplace that connects borrowers with lenders, banks and credit card companies for mortgage, personal, auto and business loans. The firm maintains a notable workforce in the region, with about 150 employees in the Seattle area expected to be served by the new 83 King office location.
