The LEGO Group has officially opened its new U.S. hub—a 157,000-square-foot office located at Samuels & Associates’ The Lyrik at 1001 Boylston Street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Spanning six floors, the state-of-the-art workspace will eventually accommodate more than 800 employees.

“This fantastic new LEGO workspace is an important part of our U.S. investment strategy, fast becoming a talent magnet in this important market,” said Niels B. Christiansen, CEO of the LEGO Group. “The Boston Hub will open up new ways for LEGO colleagues to create, connect, and grow as we continue our mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow across the U.S.”

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent officials including Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, and Jesper Møller Sørensen, the Danish Ambassador to the United States. During the event, LEGO announced a $5 million philanthropic commitment over the next two years to expand access to play opportunities for children across the city of Boston.

The new headquarters underscores LEGO’s long-term investment in the U.S. market and its dedication to fostering creativity and innovation.
