Hoar Construction has announced the topping out of the Leesburg Police Department’s Public Safety Facility in Leesburg, Virginia. The project, located near Washington D.C., is expected to be completed by March 2026. It includes a 14,500-square-foot expansion and 21,000 square feet of renovations aimed at modernizing and improving the facilities and amenities of the existing building which is over two decades old.
The expansion will add space to existing locker rooms while also creating a mezzanine level for a fitness center. Other improvements include upgrades to the electrical room and general enhancements throughout campus.
According to Will Carbaugh, project manager at Hoar Construction: “Completing this project requires careful coordination and adherence to strict timelines in order not disrupt operations at such an important facility like Leesburg Police Department’s Public Safety Facility. At Hoar Construction we are committed providing high quality work with utmost care.” Dewberry will serve as architect for this renovation/expansion while RK&K will act as program manager.
