Lee & Associates, one of the largest national commercial real estate providers, successfully negotiated the sale of a 21,627-square-foot truck maintenance facility located at 1790 Gilpen Avenue in South Elgin, Illinois for $2.7 million. Representing both buyer and seller in this transaction were Kenneth Franzese and John Cassidy from Lee & Associates as Principals representing Rock Investment Group LLC (seller) while Senior Associate John M. Joyce represented Nomad Investment Group LLC (buyer), part of the trucking company Nomad Freight.
The building features 20 drive-in doors and 1,904 square feet of office space that will be used actively by its new owner. According to Cassidy “the transportation industry remains active in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs with Industrial Outside Storage (IOS) facilities being highly sought after due to their immediate access to I-90.”
