Lee & Associates of Illinois successfully negotiated the sale of a 1.7-acre pad site located at 40 South Roselle Road in Schaumburg, Illinois. This marks the completion of Schaumburg’s Town Square development, an anchor for the northwest suburban community.
Principal Rick Scardino represented seller Village of Schaumburg while Simeon Spirrison from Adelphia Properties acted on behalf buyer SD Construct. The successful closing brings to fruition 26 years’ worth of effort by Village officials to have this site developed and incorporated into Town Square’s retail offering.
The parcel is adjacent to Oberweis and the Schaumburg Township District Library; it will be transformed into a two-story HopScotch pub restaurant with 6,342 square feet dedicated to British, Indian and American influences. Located within Olde Schaumberg Centre Historic District – a prime destination for dining and shopping – other tenants include Walker Brothers Pancake House, Bonefish Grill as well as Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt shop .
