Lee and Associates NYC Appoints Peter Braus as President

Lee & Associates NYC has announced the appointment of Peter Braus as its new president, taking over from James Wacht who will continue to serve as managing principal. With more than 25 years of experience in real estate ownership and brokerage, Braus co-founded the NYC office in 2011 and has played a key role in several significant transactions. These include the $18.2 million sale of Banking Hall at 108 Leonard Street to Jack Shainman Gallery, securing a lease for Union Square Hospitality’s commissary space at Terminal Warehouse spanning 30,000 square feet, and City Winery’s flagship location at Pier 57 covering an area of 32,000 square feet.

According to Wacht,”Peter’s extensive knowledge and progressive approach make him well-equipped to lead our firm towards becoming a top-tier mid-sized full-service real estate provider within the industry.” In addition,Todd Korren has joined Lee & Associates NYC as principal,eexecutive managing director,and leasing director responsible for overseeing daily brokerage operations including agent/staff development,strategic planning,and financial reporting.He will also be involved in promoting Lee & Associates NYC externally.
