"Leases Signed by Law Firm and Nonprofit at Battery Park Plaza"

Rudin has successfully secured leases with two tenants, law firm Sacks & Sacks LLP and nonprofit After-School All-Stars, for a combined total of 13,377 square feet at One Battery Park Plaza. These new agreements bring the occupancy rate of the 35-story office tower in Lower Manhattan to an impressive 96%.

Sacks & Sacks specializes in representing construction workers who have been injured on the job and has signed a six-year lease for 9,526 square feet. The firm will be relocating their headquarters from their current location at 150 Broadway to One Battery Park Plaza in the fourth quarter of this year.

After-School All-Stars’ New York chapter has also chosen One Battery Park Plaza as its new home by signing a five-year and four-month lease for 3,851 square feet. This organization is dedicated to providing opportunities for low-income students and plans to move from its current location at515 Madison Ave.in October.

The transactions were facilitated by Kevin Daly, Vice President of Rudin who represented building ownership. Alan Desinoand Bret Varricchioof Colliers handled negotiations on behalf of Sacks & Sack while Gary Kamenetskyof CBRE represented After-School All-Stars.
