JLL has facilitated two leases at the Edison District Development in Overland Park, Kansas, bringing the complex to full occupancy. Flying Cow Gelato and Made in KC will both open new locations in 2023 occupying 1,400 and 1,575 square feet respectively. This marks Flying Cow Gelato’s third location and Made in KC’s twelfth location within the area.
The mixed-used space is owned and developed by Overland Park Real Estate which combines office spaces with retail stores as well as restaurants with dedicated outdoor areas close to several multifamily residences. JLL Vice President RJ Trowbridge commented on this dynamic environment being a perfect fit for both local companies saying: “The dynamic environment at the Edison District is a perfect fit for both of these local companies.”
