JLL has successfully leased the newly constructed Class A FirstGate Logistics Center on behalf of First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. The tenant will occupy the full 131,683 square-foot facility located at Copans Road and Banks Road in Margate, a growing submarket in Broward County, FL.
Executive Vice President Peter Sheridan and Vice President Yuri Quispe from JLL were joined by Associate Peter Johnston to represent First Industrial during this transaction.
“Broward County is South Florida’s next big bet for industrial redevelopment,” said Quispe. “The successful leasing of the FirstGate Logistics Center brings a positive economic impact to the City of Margate and surrounding community.” He added that they are pleased with leveraging their network of brokers and professionals to find a blue-chip tenant who will be investing significant capital into personalizing and improving space as its sole occupant; special thanks was given to Nick Wigoda & Steven Medwin from Newmark for creating value representing them during this deal.
