Lease of 54K-SF in Seattle by Moderna: West Coast Expansion Continues

Biotech giant Moderna has leased 54,350 square feet of space at the Hill7 office building in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood. This move is part of a larger West Coast expansion announced by the company in March, which includes plans to hire up to 220 people for its new Seattle office. The focus will be on technology applications, artificial intelligence and other cloud-based tools – tapping into Seattle’s tech talent pool as part of a global plan to add 2,000 employees by 2023. In addition to this new presence on the west coast, Moderna already operates offices in Cambridge (MA), Atlanta (GA), Bethesda (MD) and Princeton (NJ).
