Biotech giant Moderna has leased 54,350 square feet of space in Seattle’s Hill7 office building as part of their West Coast expansion. Located at 1099 Stewart Street, the 11-story Class A office building is situated in the city’s Denny Triangle neighborhood.
In March 2021, Moderna announced plans to open a Seattle office and hire up to 220 people here. The company stated that this new location will focus on technology applications such as artificial intelligence and cloud-based tools while also tapping into Seattle’s tech talent pool. Additionally, they plan to hire approximately 2,000 new employees globally by 2023 end.
Moderna now joins other existing offices located in Cambridge (MA), Atlanta (GA), Bethesda (MD) and Princeton (NJ).
