Construction is underway at Otay Business Park in the Otay Mesa submarket of San Diego. The 119-acre property was acquired in May 2022 through a joint-venture between Elevation Land Company and a real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital. This inaugural venture for Elevation Land will encompass 1.8 million square feet of industrial distribution and logistics buildings, with Dempsey Construction performing the horizontal site work, including grading, on-site and off-site utility and road infrastructure work designed by Ware Malcomb.
Founder Brig Black of Elevation Land stated: “The SR-11/Otay Mesa East Port of Entry is slated to open in late 2025, which we anticipate finishing construction on phase one of our Class A distribution and logistics buildings near that date; bolstering cross border trade jobs as well as the region’s bi national economy.” He further added “We are proud to provide an important piece of the region’s industrial distribution network.”
