Las Vegas Casinos: Mixed-Use Project to Reopen Shuttered Sites

Proposed by Agora Realty and Management, a mixed-use project is being planned for the former Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station in North Las Vegas. With the closure of both properties due to COVID-19 pandemic three years ago, only a skating rink and parking lot remain standing at the 73 acre site located at northeast and southwest corners of Rancho Drive & Lake Mead Boulevard.

The zoning application seeks to change existing regulations to accommodate residential as well as commercial use which will include “experiential commercial, recreation, hotel, retail restaurant & multi-family uses” on north & west sides while 665 units are proposed for southeast portion. City staff has recommended that North Las Vegas City Council approve this project.
