### Las Vegas A’s Reveal Plans for $1.75 Billion Stadium

The Athletics have unveiled new renderings offering an updated look at their planned $1.75 billion ballpark in Las Vegas. The stadium will be built on the former site of The Tropicana and will feature several unique elements. Among them are home and visitor bullpens stacked together just beyond the left-field wall, as well as shortened foul territory, allowing for the closest seats to the field of any Major League stadium.

After securing agreements with the Las Vegas Stadium Authority in December covering the lease, non-relocation terms, development, and community benefits, the A’s plan to break ground on the 33,000-seat venue in the second quarter of 2025. The stadium, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and HNTB, is expected to be completed in time for the A’s to move in by Opening Day 2028. In the interim, the team will temporarily relocate to Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento for the next three seasons.
