**Highland Resources Breaks Ground on Magnolia Landing in Charleston**

Highland Resources has officially broken ground on the infrastructure for **Magnolia Landing**, a mixed-use community along the Ashley River in Charleston. Spanning 192 acres, the development will feature parks, marinas, residential and hospitality options, office space, retail shops, restaurants, waterfront docks, and various entertainment venues, all along more than a mile of scenic river frontage.

The first phase of Magnolia Landing includes two residential communities developed by Woodfield Development—one high-rise waterfront community and one mid-rise community—offering a total of 600 rental residences. Additionally, 158 luxury townhomes will be developed by a nationally recognized developer as part of this phase.

The project will also introduce a waterfront office building with **100,000 square feet of Class-A office space**, complemented by **75,000 square feet of street-level retail**, including gourmet restaurants and other commercial spaces. Furthermore, plans include a **125-key hotel**, a marina, and four additional restaurants, enhancing the community’s vibrant waterfront atmosphere.

Magnolia Landing is expected to welcome its first residents in **2027**.
