**Sunbelt Investment Holdings Eyes 272-Acre Parcel in Buckeye**

Sunbelt Investment Holdings has announced plans to bid on a 272-acre vacant parcel located near Interstate 10 and Verrado Way in Buckeye, Arizona. The property, positioned just east of the Buckeye Commons shopping center—which is owned by Sunbelt—has been zoned Commercial Center by the City of Buckeye.

The site, currently up for auction by the Arizona State Land Department, is bisected by I-10. The minimum bid has been set at $42.05 million, although an official auction date has not yet been established.

This area of Buckeye is seeing significant growth, with over one million square feet of retail space currently under development at the I-10 and Verrado Way intersection. The growing population in the West Valley supports this commercial expansion, increasing from 93,741 residents in 2020 to 114,334 in 2023.

The parcel in question is part of a broader 2,100-acre area that Buckeye is aiming to designate as a special planning zone—a dense, mixed-use development encompassing office, retail, multifamily housing, and venues for sports and entertainment.
