GBT Realty Corporation has announced that construction is currently underway at Shops at The Brick and Mortar District, a 42,000-square-foot neighborhood center located in Kyle, Texas. This retail development will be anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market and is expected to be completed by late summer of 2025. Currently, the center has already pre-leased almost 90% of its space.
The four-building complex is situated within Plum Creek and less than 1.5 miles from Interstate 35. It will feature a Sprouts store spanning over 23,250 square feet as well as an additional area of approximately18,500 square feet for various retail stores, restaurants and service amenities. There are still about4 ,700 square feet available for lease in the shopping center which also boasts an event lawn plaza.
Arch-Con Corp., serving as the general contractor for this project while GBT Realty Corporation acquired the five-acre site back in late2023for $3 .2 million . To fund this development,G BT secured a $12 .6 million construction loan from Hancock Whitney Bank.
