Kyle is currently seeking proposals for the design, construction, and operation of a hotel and convention center in their rapidly growing downtown area. The proposed location is within the Lake Park District of the town, which will also be home to a seven-story St. David’s HealthCare hospital, offices, retail space, over 2,000 residential units and a public park along Kyle Parkway and Kohler’s Crossing on the north side.
Interested parties must submit their responses by December 20th.
According to Victoria Vargas from Kyle’s team: “The Lake Park District Hotel and Convention Center will not only serve as an exceptional destination for business travelers but also contribute significantly to our economic development efforts while creating new opportunities for our community.”
In recent news reported by Austin Business Journal earlier this month,
Kyle has issued another request for proposals – this time looking
for an operator who can fill up approximately one acre of city-owned land in Brick
and Mortar District with a restaurant.
Based on census data analysis,
it has been revealed that Kyle ranks as second fastest-growing city in America.
