Spanning across one million square feet on 216 acres of land with potential for expansion, the factory specializes in producing STERLING brand bath and shower fixtures. With an investment of $300 million, it features a comprehensive setup including a manufacturing unit, warehouse space, distribution center as well as offices and cafeterias. Additionally, visitors can also explore the showroom to view Kohler’s range of products.
The cutting-edge technology incorporated in this smart factory enables efficient production processes for baths, shower receptors and walls. In recognition of its innovative approach towards sustainability practices within the industry sector , Kohler was selected by the U.S Department Of Energy (DOE) Office Of Clean Energy Demonstrations to negotiate an award worth up to $51.2 million at their Casa Grande plant – matched by company investments – aimed at showcasing commercial-scale decarbonization solutions.
