Newmark has expanded its Long Island office with the addition of three industrial sales and leasing experts from Cushman & Wakefield. Executive managing director Kyle Burkhardt, managing director Joshua Cohen, and associate director Patrick Ciancimino have joined Newmark to focus on industrial sales and leasing throughout the region. Their combined experience includes completing more than 10 million square feet of transactions for institutional investment firms and Fortune 500 companies with a total value exceeding $1 billion.

Average asking rents for Long Island’s industrial market have increased 47% since the pandemic began in 2020 reaching an all-time high at $18.32 per square foot in Q1 2023 according to data provided by Newmark.
