Kirk Helgeson Appointed President of American Realty Advisors

American Realty Advisors has announced that Kirk Helgeson will take over as president, succeeding Scott Darling. Helgeson, who currently serves as the firm’s CIO and chairman of its investment committee, will also continue to lead their value-added real estate strategy.

This transition is part of ARA’s long-term succession plan and recognizes Helgeson’s significant contributions to the leadership, direction, and success of the Los Angeles-based company. According to Stanley Iezman, Chairman and CEO of ARA, this move highlights Helgeson’s crucial role in both operations and investment decisions.

“We are proud to acknowledge Kirk’s important influence on our team – he has been with us for nearly 25 years and is deeply ingrained in our operations,” said Iezman. “His experience in the industry along with his relationships make him an invaluable asset for both our firm and investors.”

Darling will shift his focus towards managing the Core Fund alongside Martha Shelley while remaining a member of ARA’s leadership team as well as its investment committee.

The announcement marks another milestone for American Realty Advisors’ continued growth under strong leadership.
