Kingsbarn Realty Capital has recently acquired the headquarters of GoldCoast Logistics Group in Elgin, Illinois. The property, located at 1425 Madeline Lane and completed in 2022, was specifically built for the company. As one of the largest trucking and logistics companies in the Midwest region, GoldCoast Logistics has signed a long-term lease with Kingsbarn that includes annual rental increases.
According to CEO Jeff Pori, this acquisition aligns with Kingsbarn’s strategy of investing in well-positioned distribution and logistics properties. The company plans to offer interests in this high-quality replacement property to private investors seeking a 1031 exchange opportunity.
The newly acquired headquarters spans over 61,888 square feet and boasts a warehouse area with a clear height of 30 feet. It also features convenient access to major highways such as I-90 and I-94 as well as close proximity to O’Hare International Airport.
This latest development marks another successful investment by Kingsbarn Realty Capital within the commercial real estate market.
