"King Explores Atascocita Apartments and Retail Options"

Real estate developer Read King is currently considering a new project in Atascocita, which would consist of 336 apartments and retail space. The estimated cost for this development is $60 million.

The proposed development, named The Market at The Groves, will be located at the intersection of Woodland Hills Drive and Madera Run Parkway in the neighborhood of The Groves. Along with the apartments, Read King plans to construct at least four retail buildings.

According to a report from the Houston Business Journal, these retail buildings will include a 22,000-square-foot structure on 15936 Woodland Hills Drive; another building measuring 3,800 square feet on 15934 Woodland Hills Drive; a third building spanning over an area of10 ,800 square feet on15930WoodlandHillsDrive ;andafourthbuildingcovering12 ,460squarefeeton15906Wood landHillsDrive.Allbuildingswillbeconstructedas”shellbuildings”,intendedforpotentialusebyretailers,res taurants,andofficespaces.

The apartment community itself will feature twelve three-story buildings with detached garages. It will also have its own clubhouse and fitness center separate from those designated for retail use. Other amenities include a resort-style pool with cabana and even pickleball courts for residents’ enjoyment.Meeks + Partners has been chosen as the design firm responsible for creating these modern living spaces.
