**Killian Pacific Secures Retail Tenants at Jackstraw Mixed-Use Project in Bend**
Killian Pacific, a prominent real estate developer in the Pacific Northwest, has signed long-term leases with two Central Oregon businesses at Jackstraw, its latest mixed-use project featuring 313 residential units and retail space.
Anchoring the retail component of Jackstraw will be The Way West, a Western-inspired bar that offers a fresh-cut deli and provisions counter. The concept is a collaboration between Bend Brewing Company and Sisters Meat & Smokehouse, delivering a unique food and beverage experience to Bend’s Southern Crossing neighborhood.
Jackstraw is located on a 4.7-acre site at the intersection of Industrial Way and Lava Road, strategically positioned between downtown Bend and the Old Mill District. Its proximity to The Box Factory retail center adds to the development’s convenience and appeal.
The Way West is scheduled to begin construction in late 2025. The 3,800-square-foot venue will offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with an expected opening in 2026.
Construction on the Jackstraw development has been underway since 2023 and is currently over 88% complete. The mixed-use project includes a combination of apartments and townhomes, along with seven stories of residential space and community amenities.
In addition to The Way West, two other retail tenants have also been confirmed: Sisters Coffee Company and DryBar. These new additions further enhance Jackstraw’s vision of blending residential living with vibrant local commerce.
