Expansion of a dedicated retail investment sales team at a major brokerage reinforces advisory capacity for owners considering dispositions in Pacific Northwest secondary markets.

Kidder Mathews has expanded its Gellner Retail Team with the addition of Eric Hagen at the firm's downtown Seattle headquarters. Hagen becomes part of a group that focuses on the sale of retail investment properties across the Pacific Northwest, working alongside Executive Vice President David Gellner, First Vice President Parker Ksidakis, and Client Services Coordinator Michelle Plafcan.

The Gellner Team concentrates on investment sales assignments for retail assets, advising a range of clients that includes private investors, institutional owners, developers, and property holders. According to the firm, the brokers on the team have collectively closed more than 210 transactions, with total consideration exceeding $742 million. Those transactions span multiple Pacific Northwest markets and reflect activity across different types of retail centers and single-tenant properties.

Regional President of Brokerage Will Frame described Hagen as a strong addition to an already high-performing team, citing his market knowledge, energy, and client service orientation as reasons he is well aligned with Kidder Mathews. Frame noted that the firm is focused on bringing in professionals who can support its ongoing investment in brokerage talent throughout the region, positioning the platform to pursue additional opportunities in retail investment sales.

Recent work by the Gellner Retail Team includes sales of several shopping centers and retail properties in Washington state. Among the named transactions are Cordata Shopping Center in Bellingham, Kitsap Shopping Centers in Silverdale, Wilderness Crossing in Maple Valley, Hobby Lobby in Tacoma, and Trestle Station in Lake Stevens. These assets illustrate the team's coverage of both multi-tenant centers and single-tenant retail properties in a variety of suburban markets.

Gellner commented that the group is excited to bring Hagen onto the team as it builds on existing transaction momentum. The hire underscores the team's focus on maintaining deal flow and client coverage across the Pacific Northwest's retail investment landscape, supported by Kidder Mathews' broader brokerage platform and downtown Seattle base.
