**Kidder Mathews Lists Two Whole Foods-Anchored Retail Properties in Santa Barbara and Malibu**
Kidder Mathews has brought to market a rare investment opportunity featuring two Whole Foods-anchored retail properties located in Santa Barbara and Malibu. The combined portfolio is being offered at $145 million and includes below-market seller financing. The listings are being represented by Tanel Harunzade and Darrell Levonian.
In Santa Barbara, the offering includes a freestanding Whole Foods property located at 3761 State Street, listed at $57.5 million. This location underwent a complete interior renovation in 2022, followed by an exterior refresh in 2023, positioning it as a modern and attractive asset in a premium market.
The second property in the portfolio is The Park at Cross Creek, located in Malibu’s Civic Center. The shopping center, built in 2019, is anchored by Whole Foods and is currently 100% leased to an upscale mix of high-profile tenants. This property is being offered at $87.5 million.
“These are generational assets that combine the strength of Whole Foods with premier coastal locations,” said Tanel Harunzade. “Santa Barbara’s only Whole Foods and Malibu’s flagship store each draw from exceptional demographics, and both properties benefit from significant barriers to entry.”
This portfolio presents institutional buyers and investors with a rare opportunity to acquire two trophy retail assets in two of Southern California’s most desirable coastal communities.
