Kevin Whalen has been named the Senior Managing Director and leader of Cushman & Wakefield’s Mid-Atlantic property management group. He will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
In his new role, Whalen will oversee a team of 672 professionals and manage a combined portfolio of 85,319,470 square feet across the Mid-Atlantic region. His main focus will be on maximizing the value of commercial real estate properties for owners at all stages of their lifecycle. He takes over from Ben Comm who previously held this position and is now transitioning to a new role within the Mid-Atlantic property management group where he will focus on strategic client care for Cushman & Wakefield’s entire portfolio.
Whalen brings with him extensive experience in investor services and property management from his previous role as Executive Vice President & National Account Director at JLL where he managed national property portfolios for institutional investors including office buildings, medical offices, life sciences facilities and industrial properties as part of JLL’s national leadership team for property management.
