Keeley Construction Breaks Ground on HELUKABEL USA Expansion in Illinois
Keeley Construction has officially begun work on a major expansion of HELUKABEL USA’s facility located at 1201 Weseman Drive in West Dundee, Illinois. The project includes a 132,000-square-foot addition, which will bring the total size of the facility to over 200,000 square feet upon completion.
“This project reflects our commitment to growth and to delivering product and service excellence,” said Jurrien van der Akker, President of HELUKABEL USA. “Our goal is to enhance our vertically integrated capabilities, which include cables, connectors, plug-and-play assemblies, and cable guidance systems. This expansion will allow us to provide fully populated, ready-to-install electrical solutions to our partners.”
The expanded facility will include new warehouse space, office areas, and climate-controlled environments designed for the development and testing of electrical systems. Significantly, it marks the first time these types of operations will be conducted on-site in the United States.
Keeley Construction’s project team is led by Paul Jennrich, Senior Project Manager; Dan Zboncak, Senior Superintendent; and Dorothy Mateo, Project Coordinator. The project also includes Skedio Architecture, Jacob & Hefner, and Benchmark Developers, who is serving as the owner’s representative.
