BGO and Yukon Real Estate Partners have begun construction on a new cold storage warehouse in New Century, Kansas. The 291,000-square-foot facility is located just outside of Kansas City and is expected to open in the third quarter of 2025.
The building has been specifically designed for CJ Logistics America, who has leased the entire space. Flora Food Group will be occupying a majority of the facility. The warehouse will have direct access to BNSF Railway and is conveniently located less than four miles from Interstate 35 and only eleven miles from the BNSF Railway intermodal facility.
According to Kevin Rivest, Managing Partner at BGO, there is a high demand for modern and sustainable cold storage infrastructure. This project not only meets that demand but also provides competitive advantages for tenants serving both regional and global markets with their goods.
