A joint venture between Kayne Anderson Real Estate and CEDARst Companies has completed the acquisition of Millie on Michigan, a newly constructed 47-story luxury residential tower located in Chicago’s Loop.
The property, located at 300 N Michigan Avenue, was completed in 2022. It features 289 upscale residential units and 25,000 square feet of retail space. Offering a variety of modern amenities, the building includes a rooftop pool and lounge, coworking spaces, a fitness center, a dog run, and smart home technology. At the time of sale, it was 95% occupied.
Originally developed by Sterling Bay and Magellan Development Group, the 523-foot glass tower was designed by bKL Architecture. In addition to the residential units and retail space, the property also includes 280 hotel rooms. Its prime location places it just blocks from popular Chicago destinations such as the Chicago Riverwalk and Millennium Park.
The acquisition is part of CEDARst Opportunistic Fund I, which launched in February 2025.
