Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a leading commercial real estate investment firm specializing in technology and services, recently finalized the sale of Kids r Kids daycare center in Olathe, Kansas for $5.775 million.
The transaction was facilitated by Matthews Associate Matthew Gibbs and Vice President and Director Clay Smith who represented the seller. Through their expertise in local markets and effective marketing strategies, they were able to secure a deal that exceeded previous off-market offers by $1 million. The sale included both the business operations as well as the underlying real estate of the property which boasts 18,000 square feet on a 2.42-acre lot built in 2017.
The buyer was Kiddie Academy based out of Maryland who saw potential for expansion into Kansas City with this acquisition. This marks their first venture into Kansas as they currently operate franchises across 41 states.
