Kaizen Breaks Ground on Chalk Hill Mixed-Use Project in Uptown Dallas

Kaizen has officially acquired a 2.3-acre parcel located at the intersection of Wolf and North Harwood Streets in Uptown Dallas. The site, formerly home to the North Texas Public Broadcasting company studios and its 300-foot-tall transmission tower, will soon be transformed into a major mixed-use development named Chalk Hill.

Plans for Chalk Hill include more than 400,000 square feet of Class AA office space, a 217-key lifestyle luxury hotel developed in partnership with HN Capital Partners, 61 luxury-branded residential condominiums, and several food and beverage offerings.

The office component will offer a range of high-end amenities designed to appeal to modern tenants, including a full-service fitness center featuring spa-like locker rooms, saunas, and a cold plunge. Nearly an acre of occupiable green roof space will provide outdoor gathering areas, complemented by well-equipped conference facilities, hospitality-inspired lounge spaces, and a versatile executive boardroom and dining area.

Kaizen has selected BOKA Powell as the project’s architect and Balfour Beatty as the general contractor. JLL is handling the leasing of the office space, led by Blake Shipley and T.D. Briggs.
