JV Plans to Construct 10-Story Hollywood Rental Community

Neal Development and Guardian Properties are proposing the demolition of a small building with 13 apartments to make way for a new 10-story apartment complex in Hollywood. The city’s Technical Advisory Committee will review the plans later this month. The proposed Dixiana Apartments, located just west of Federal Highway on less than half an acre, were purchased by the developers for $2.2 million in July. Construction is expected to begin before the end of this year.

The project would encompass 63,055 square feet and include 89 parking spaces. Amenities such as a pool deck on the sixth floor and indoor facilities spanning over 1,300 square feet including a fitness center are also planned.

Dixiana Apartments will offer units ranging from 470 to 973 square feet with various layouts including studios, one-bedroom units, one-bedroom units with dens, and two-bedroom units.

Kaller Architecture based in Hollywood has designed this project.
