**JPMorgan Chase Expands Office Footprint at Citadel Center**

JPMorgan Chase has significantly expanded its presence at the Citadel Center, located at 131 S. Dearborn St. in Chicago. The financial services firm has added more than 126,000 square feet of office space, increasing its total footprint in the 37-story high-rise to nearly 321,000 square feet, according to a report from Crain’s.

This expansion comes under a short-term leasing arrangement. JPMorgan Chase now occupies the fourth, fifth, and eighth floors through the end of 2026, and the third and sixth floors through the end of 2029. The lease expansion was negotiated by JLL representatives Steve Stratton, Andy Strand, and Annie Nicolau on behalf of JPMorgan Chase. Jack McKinney Jr., Patrick Russo, and Katie Hull represented the building’s landlord.

The additional space at Citadel Center will provide interim workspace while JPMorgan Chase continues an extensive renovation of its nearby headquarters at Chase Tower, located at 10 S. Dearborn St. The 850-foot, 60-story skyscraper is set to undergo major upgrades, including a redesigned plaza and lobby, technology-enhanced workspaces, a new fitness center, and enhanced outdoor areas.
