JPMorgan Chase & Co. is preparing to consolidate a portion of its Nashville-area workforce into a new office at Broadwest, a 600,000-square-foot mixed-use development in the city. The bank has leased approximately 51,000 square feet at the project, creating a larger hub intended to house employees and serve clients in the Greater Nashville area.
According to reporting cited from the Nashville Business Journal, the new JPMorgan Chase space will feature a client center designed to handle roughly twice the capacity of the institution’s current local facility. The build-out will include flexible workspaces that support a range of office uses, as well as access to Broadwest’s on-site amenities. The space is being planned to accommodate up to 280 employees across two floors, with additional room reserved to allow for future growth.
The office is expected to be available to JPMorgan Chase employees starting in early 2028. The move will bring a significant share of the firm’s Greater Nashville workforce into a single, modern location at Broadwest while still leaving additional employees elsewhere in the state.
The Broadwest location will also elevate JPMorgan’s visibility in the Nashville skyline. The office is set to include J.P. Morgan signage at the top of one of the project’s buildings, marking the first time the firm’s branding has appeared at the crown of a building in the city.
On the brokerage side of the transaction, Brie Bley of CBRE represented JPMorgan Chase in securing the new Broadwest space. Bill Adair and Ashley Marshall represented Propst Companies in the deal.
Broadwest opened in 2021 as a large-scale mixed-use development. In addition to the office component where JPMorgan Chase will locate, the project includes a 34-story condominium tower, the 234-room Conrad Nashville hotel and approximately 125,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The development has helped expand the mix of office, residential, hospitality and retail offerings in this part of Nashville’s urban core.
JPMorgan Chase reports having 500 employees across the state, with nearly 400 based in the Greater Nashville area, underscoring the importance of the market within the firm’s broader regional footprint.
