JPI Breaks Ground on Transit-Oriented Development in Inglewood

JPI, a leading real estate development company, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction on Jefferson Inglewood. This new community will offer 222 apartment units in the vibrant city of Inglewood. The event was attended by notable figures such as Mayor James Butts and representatives from Senator Steven Bradford’s and Assembly Member Tina McKinnor’s offices, along with other project partners.

The eight-story complex will feature both market rate and affordable housing options, following the City of Inglewood’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) plan and design guidelines. Completion is expected in 2026.

Sunti Kumjim, JPI’s Senior Vice President and regional development partner expressed excitement about being part of such an amazing community with a rich history and promising future. He added that this project will not only contribute to the growth of Inglewood but also provide much-needed housing for its residents for years to come.
