"Jonis Realty: 3 MXUs Sold in East Village for $29M"

Recently, Queens-based developer Jonis Realty successfully completed the sale of three buildings in New York City’s East Village to Brooklyn-based developer Ryco Capital for a total of $29 million. These properties, located at 127 Second Ave., 129 Second Ave., and 36 Saint Mark’s Place, are six-story mixed-use structures featuring a combined total of 10 retail units and 59 residential units. The residential units range from studios to five-bedroom apartments while the retail tenants include popular establishments such as Paul’s Da Burger Joint, Taqueria Diana, Ramen Misoya, and B&H Dairy.

The sale was facilitated by Marcus & Millichap’s team consisting of Joe Koicim, Logan Markley,
Zan Colin,and Matt Berger who represented Jonis Realty in the transaction and successfully procured Ryco Capital as the buyer. This deal highlights strong investor interest in prime real estate opportunities within New York City’s vibrant East Village neighborhood.
